Minnesota will finish the regular-season at Ohio State on May 20-22. The Golden Gophers will face the Buckeyes on Thursday, May 20 at 6:05 p.m. (CT), Saturday, May 21 at 6:05 p.m. (CT) and Saturday, May 22 at 12:05 p.m. (CT).

All three games will be shown live on the Big Ten Network. Brian Barnhardt will do play-by-play and former Golden Gopher Jerry Kindall will be the color commentator. The entire series can also be heard on KLBB (1220 AM) and in the Gold Zone.

Minnesota enters the week in first place in the Big Ten at 13-8. The Golden Gophers lead the conference by a game, and would clinch the No. 1 seed and a regular-season Big Ten title with a pair of victories this week. Minnesota also has a 25-27 overall record, and has won 11 of its last 15 games. Ohio State is in four-way tie for fifth place in the Big Ten at 10-11, and has an overall record of 27-21.

The Golden Gophers are led by Nick O'Shea who is batting .348 with 11 home runs, 49 RBI and 36 runs. Junior Michael Kvasnicka is batting .353 with a .459 on-base percentage, seven home runs, 44 RBI and 20 doubles. Senior catcher Kyle Knudson is batting .328 with five home runs, 37 RBI, 31 runs and 15 doubles. Matt Puhl is also batting .335 with 28 runs, 15 doubles and 16 RBI, while AJ Pettersen leads the Gophers with 42 runs.

Junior Seth Rosin (Shoreview, Minn.) is 6-4 with a 4.93 ERA and has 73 strikeouts in 80.1 innings. Rosin has only walked seven batters in his 80.1 innings of work. Freshman TJ Oakes is 4-3 with a 3.75 ERA and has 48 strikeouts in 72.0 innings. Junior Phil Isaksson is second in the Big Ten in ERA at 2.89, and is 5-1 with 51 strikeouts in 71.2 innings. Junior Scott Matyas (North Prairie, Wis.) is 3-1 with five saves and has 38 strikeouts in 26.0 innings.

Ohio State is led by Zach Hurley who is batting .396 with seven home runs, 38 RBI and 48 runs. Michael Stephens leads the team in home runs with nine, has 40 RBI, has 38 runs and is batting .366. Ryan Dew also leads the team with 43 RBI, has six home runs, 35 runs and a .342 batting average. Pitching wise, the Buckeyes are led by Alex Wimmers. Wimmers is 9-0 with a 1.61 ERA and 78 strikeouts in 67.0 innings. However, Wimmers has missed his last three starts with an injury. Drew Rucinski is also 4-3 with a 4.63 ERA and 54 strikeouts in 63.0 innings. Dean Wolosianski is also 3-8 with a 5.67 ERA and has 62 strikeouts in 87.1 innings. :tits
